I don't know if you're gonna use a bright or dark text color, so I just went for a rather dark background. If you are gonna use black text I'll lover the opacity. If the background is gonna stay dark I'd like to add the light effect (such as in version 6) to make the sprite stick out a bit more.
Want him on the left or on the right side? Or both? (lol, duet with yourself)

its distortion has saddened me enough...
rain...I'm too stupid to know how to make gifs...plusmoviemaker won't let me animate because images must be like 1 sec long minimum...plus all those TINY frames being over lapped each other..u just know i'll get confused and mix'em up...hence y i fel its better to just have a gif from the get go and just loop that...

you can see a few pixels on the sprite after turning it into a gif, but when putting it into the video it shouldn't be visible anymore and I'm glad photoshop didn't have a problem with the size.
Not sure about the speed though, I made it 0,4 sec.

one trick is to put the jpgs into movie maker, save the file and then speed up the wmv file you just made.
But I'll make it a gif for you. ^-^ Although I think photoshop will nag about the big size, but let me try.
